How much force does a cardboard baler use?
Cardboard baling machines are powerful machines for compacting waste materials to reduce the volume. How much pressure does a cardboard baler use to compress and bale the material? How strong is a cardboard baler?
On average a vertical baler has 8,000 – 12,000 lbs force. A compactor 25,000 – 60,000 lbs force. And a horizontal baler 50,000 – 350,000 lbs.

What does the pressing force mean?
The pressing force is used to move the ram (or platen / plunger) vertically or horizontally to compress the waste materials inside the compressing chamber or container. The ram exerts pressure on the material which results in compressing or compacting the material. This could reduce the volume of cardboard waste up to 10 times.
